AAKEWO is the action arm for immersing Cultural Reconnection Mission delegates as leaders in joint venture projects with Kenyan women. Projects are a natural progression of participating in Cultural Reconnection Missions. When delegates travel with us to Kenya, they see or learn about projects that benefit women and vulnerable children. When a delegate feels passionate about a project, she can assume leadership to bring technical and financial assistance to it. Since Cultural Reconnection Missions take place annually, new and returning delegates use these opportunities to check on the progress of their projects.
